We got to Cleveland around 10AM and after renting a car we were off to explore. Matt and I's method of searching for happening things to do is looking for the "Downtown" exit on the interstate and then figuring it out from there. Today was no different.
I would not say that Cleveland's downtown is my favorite city, but we had a great time. We found some water...
a basketball tournament
and then went to Rock Bottom Brewerey for lunch. Our lunch tasted excellent, and we got to sample some in house made beer, but we have set a new rule. We must ask if the places we eat are chains before we start our meal. We were dissappointed to find out that this fine establishment is located in about 10 other states... we will search for more interesting eateries in the future.
Then we walked a long way. I like it, Matt... is trying to make me happy :)
I will pause here and continue the story tomorrow.

Yeah, we went to Cleveland a few years ago for a wedding, and didn't find much there either.
i guess we were lucky when we went b/c we had a locals advice on the places to go and the places to avoid...must have done a good job avoiding the places you guys went?!?! i can already tell you all are gonna have some great stories from your big adventure!!!
